Briggs & Stratton Generators for Large Homes

Briggs & Stratton 26kW PowerProtect+ home standby generators suit homes of 3,000 sq ft and up with two or more central air conditioners and electric appliances. Choose a generator only (040807, or the 040810 PowerProtect DX) if you already have a transfer switch, or the 040814 kit with dual 200A transfer switches for homes with 400A split service.

Very large or all-electric home? Pair the generator with Symphony II power management so the biggest loads take turns instead of overloading it; see power management modules. Two 200A panels? See generators for 400A split service. Smaller home? See mid-size homes.

See the full range in Briggs & Stratton Residential Standby Generators. Sizing here is a starting point; a licensed electrician should complete a load calculation before installation. Questions? Call 678-535-7176.
