RunTru by Trane Evaporator Coils for 24.5" Furnaces

Every RunTru by Trane R-454B evaporator coil with a 24.5" cabinet, in both upflow (5PXC) and multi-position (5TXC) styles. Measure your furnace cabinet; if it's 24.5" wide, these coils line up with no transition.

How to choose the right RunTru coil

1. Match the cabinet width to your furnace: 14.5", 17.5", 21" or 24.5". The 5th character of the model number tells you (A, B, C or D).
2. Pick the style. 5PXC coils are dedicated upflow coils that sit on top of an upflow furnace. 5TXC coils are convertible: upflow, downflow, or horizontal left or right.
3. Check the capacity range and the AHRI match. Each coil covers a tonnage range. Confirm the AHRI rating for your exact outdoor unit and coil pair.

Read a RunTru coil model number

Example: 5TXCB004AS3HC

• 5 = R-454B generation
• PXC = cased upflow coil · TXC = cased convertible (multi-position) coil
• B = cabinet width (A = 14.5", B = 17.5", C = 21", D = 24.5")
• 004 = coil size. A higher number means a bigger coil for higher tonnage.
