Replacing or upgrading a commercial HVAC system is a significant investment, and the wrong decision costs money for years. At AC Units For Less, we've taken the guesswork out of the process — stocking authorized commercial equipment from Trane, Daikin, and Goodman, priced directly without distributor markups, and shipped to all 48 contiguous states.
Whether you're a property manager replacing a failed rooftop unit, a general contractor sourcing equipment for a new build, or an HVAC contractor looking for better pricing than your local distributor offers, you'll find the right system here.
What We Carry
Our commercial lineup covers the three system types most commonly used in light-to-mid commercial applications:
Rooftop Packaged Units (RTUs)
The workhorse of commercial HVAC. Everything — compressor, coils, blower, and controls — ships in one cabinet that mounts directly to the roof and connects to your existing ductwork through a sheet metal curb. No separate indoor unit. No refrigerant line runs. Trane's Precedent series runs from 3 to 25 tons and uses R-454B refrigerant, positioning it well ahead of the phase-out curve on older refrigerants.
Packaged Ground Units
Work identically to rooftop units but sit on a concrete pad or pavers at grade. The right call when roof loading is a concern or when the building layout makes rooftop installation impractical. Same all-in-one efficiency, different placement.
Large-Tonnage Split Systems
Make sense when you need more flexible indoor unit placement or when the building already has split system infrastructure in place. We carry 7.5-ton and larger condensers from Daikin and Goodman designed for commercial applications.
Who Buys Commercial Equipment From Us
Property managers and facility directors use us to source replacement RTUs fast — avoiding the weeks-long lead times that local distributors often quote for commercial equipment. General contractors and mechanical subs use our B2B program to lock in project pricing without going through a rep or distributor. Business owners handling their own procurement use us to avoid the markup baked in when equipment passes through multiple hands before reaching the job site.
If you have a project with multiple units or need a freight quote before purchasing, call us at 678-535-7176 or visit our B2B program for contractor and volume pricing.
Not Sure What You Need?
The two most common questions we hear from commercial buyers are: How do I size the unit? and RTU or split system — which is right for my building?
For sizing, the rule of thumb is 1 ton of cooling per 400–600 square feet of commercial space, adjusted for ceiling height, insulation quality, occupancy load, and climate zone. A restaurant or server room needs more cooling per square foot than a warehouse or office. When in doubt, use our free estimate tool or call us — we can walk you through it.
For the RTU vs. split system question: RTUs win on simplicity and install speed. Split systems win when you need precise zone control or when the building has multiple indoor spaces with different load profiles. Our team can help you compare options for your specific building type.
