    What's the difference between single-stage and two-stage?

    A single-stage heat pump runs at full output whenever it's on. A two-stage GLZT7 runs on a lower stage most of the time, so cycles are longer and quieter, temperatures are steadier, and it removes more humidity in summer.

    Do I need a heat kit?

    Most heat pump installs include one for backup and defrost heat. In mild climates, 5 kW is common. In colder areas, size the kit to the home's heat loss.

    Can I pair these with my existing indoor unit?

    No. R-32 systems need a matched R-32 air handler. Replace the indoor and outdoor units together.

    Can I reuse my line set?

    Sometimes. The line set must be the correct size and in good condition, and your installer should verify and flush it first.

    How are these shipped?

    By freight with liftgate delivery to the 48 contiguous states. Inspect both units for damage before signing.
