Goodman R-32 Evaporator Coils for 14" Furnaces

Every Goodman R-32 evaporator coil with a 14" cabinet. 14" is the narrowest Goodman cabinet, common on smaller furnaces. Measure your furnace cabinet's width; if it's 14", these coils line up with no transition. Shop by style using the links below: upflow/downflow, horizontal or uncased.

How to choose the right coil

1. Match the cabinet width to your furnace (14", 17.5", 21" or 24.5"). A matching width bolts straight on with no transition.
2. Match the airflow. Upflow/downflow coils sit on top of or under an upright furnace. Horizontal coils go beside a furnace laid on its side, common in attics and crawl spaces.
3. Match the tonnage and refrigerant to your condenser. These coils are R-32 only and pair with Goodman R-32 air conditioners and heat pumps. Check the AHRI certificate for your exact condenser and coil pair.

Example: CAPTA3626C3

• CAP = cased, upflow/downflow · CHP = cased, horizontal · CAU = uncased
• 36 = nominal capacity (18 = 1.5 ton, 24 = 2 ton, 30 = 2.5 ton, 36 = 3 ton, 42 = 3.5 ton, 48 = 4 ton, 60 = 5 ton)
• C = cabinet width (A = 14", B = 17.5", C = 21", D = 24.5")
• 3 at the end = R-32 refrigerant

CAPTA coils have a TXV and CAPEA coils have an EEV, both factory installed.

Frequently asked questions

How do I measure my furnace width?

Measure the outside of the furnace cabinet from side to side. Goodman cabinets are 14", 17.5", 21" or 24.5". You can also read it from the furnace model number or nameplate.

Can I use an R-32 coil with my R-410A condenser?

No. R-32 coils are built for R-32 systems only. If your outdoor unit is R-410A, replace both together or choose a matched R-32 system.

Do you ship coils?

Yes, to all 48 contiguous states. Licensed contractors can get trade pricing through our contractor portal.
