Direct-to-Chip (DTC) Coolants

The Dynalene PG-D Series is a pre-diluted USP propylene glycol coolant built for technology cooling system (TCS) loops, CDUs and copper cold plates. PG-D25 is accepted by the Open Compute Project (OCP). The series passes ASTM D8040 (heat transfer coolant corrosion), D7437 (thermal stability) and D1881 (foaming).

• PG-D15 – 15% PG with biocide, freeze point 23°F, for indoor loops with no freeze exposure
• PG-D25 – 25% PG, freeze point 14°F, the OCP-accepted standard for cold plate loops
• PG-D55 – 55% PG for loops that run to outdoor dry coolers in cold climates

Aluminum-Safe OAT Glycols

Standard inhibited glycols can gel, drop white precipitate or spike pH in contact with hot aluminum. Dynalene PG-A1 and EG-A1 use an organic acid technology (OAT) inhibitor package that protects aluminum up to 239°F surface temperature, making them the right fill for aluminum cold plates, microchannel dry coolers and mixed-metal loops.

Inhibited Glycols for Chiller and Facility Water Loops

Dynalene PG (non-toxic propylene glycol) and Dynalene EG (ethylene glycol) are virgin-glycol heat transfer fluids with a corrosion inhibitor package for steel, copper, brass and cast iron. Use them in chillers, facility water systems (FWS), cooling towers, and freeze protection for rooftop and outdoor piping.
